I received a call from a woman’s voice claiming that I was facing legal action against me. I hung up straight away, assuming it was just some sort of scam.

I picked up the phone only for them to hang up straight away. So, I went ahead and blocked the number, and they had a go at calling me once more, but it didn’t work out for them.

Hello! I recently received a call from 01633746115. The caller asked for me, then suddenly hung up, which struck me as rather strange. I’ve had a call from a similar number in the past, so I can’t shake the feeling that there’s something dodgy going on. Just thought I'd share my experience – cheers!

I've been receiving calls from this number on my mobile daily throughout the previous week, often more than once a day, primarily during the early afternoon. Whenever I pick up, they simply hang up without saying a word or leaving a message. I've had enough of it and decided to block them.

Received a call I didn’t ask for, so I’ve put a stop to it.

I'm really getting fed up with these calls; it feels like I'm inundated with three or four of them daily. No sooner do I block one number, then another pops up from a different one! It's just relentless.

I received a call claiming there was some dubious activity on my bank card being used overseas. They instructed me to press 1 to verify or 2 for further assistance from an operator. It's clearly a con! Best to ignore it altogether.

I received a call from someone claiming I had completed a survey for a complimentary subscription to a puzzle magazine. Well, since I have absolutely no interest in puzzle magazines, I hastily ended the conversation! The caller was phoning from Newport in Wales.

I received a call from a woman who seemed to be looking for me, but she mentioned a name that wasn’t mine. I can only presume they must have taken a wild stab at it based on my initials. In any case, I decided to end the conversation and hang up.

I received a message from a publication, possibly a magazine, though I'm not entirely certain. It had something to do with puzzle books or similar types of content. Quite curious, isn’t it?

I didn't quite get the name of the firm, but they mentioned something about mailing puzzle books for only a quid initially. If you enjoyed it, there'd be a pricier subscription afterwards. They were keen on collecting my address, email, and full bank details, including sort code and account number. I respectfully said no, and now they've been blocked.

I received a call on my landline earlier, but thankfully my call blocker handled it just fine. They didn’t leave any message, so I've decided it’s best to add this number to my blocked list.
