They told me I had agreed to be contacted about PPI, which I said wasn’t true. Despite that, they carried on taking info that’s pretty much public anyway. I told them it felt a bit dodgy how they were guessing stuff and being sneaky about it. To be fair, the bloke on the phone was quite polite and said they’d take off the “interest” part.

I ended up hanging up. They’ve even started leaving silent voicemails - got two yesterday - that charge me for calls with no message. I’m 74 and get at least 15 calls daily from random unsolicited numbers, many of which are clearly scams. It’s getting so bad I don’t want to answer my phone and might miss important calls. Got a call earlier asking for someone I’ve never heard of. Lucky for me, they were from Fight Any Claim and quite eager to bother me. I told them to stop calling and take a hike.

I picked up the phone because a legit looking number was on my screen, and the person asked for me by name. Then they started talking about contesting some claim, so I just ended the call. These constant calls are so annoying, I really don't understand why nothing’s been done to block them. Used to be a nice thing to get a phone call, but now I answer with a load of suspicion!!

A woman rang about PPI, said I took part in some survey for credit advice or help. She just wouldn’t accept my no and kept pushing, so in the end I had to hang up on her.

Got a call about some PPI stuff. Told them I’ve never taken out a mortgage, loan or credit card, so they were just wasting their time. They still wanted to carry on and asked me to verify the name they had for me, which I agreed was right. After that, they asked for my date of birth, but I said no way. Then they just hung up. Fingers crossed they don’t manage to fool anyone into giving out private details.

Got a call about PPI. Told the bloke I’d sorted all my claims ages ago but he kept pushing, saying he’d send forms or something. I just ended the call, but now they’re calling twice as much as before - had about 7 calls today alone from them. Didn’t pick up any. Now my husband’s phone’s been buzzing from the same number too. Seriously, something needs to be done about these nuisance callers.

I am utterly fed up with these constant calls. As someone with a disability, it's incredibly challenging for me to reach the phone when they ring. I've repeatedly requested that my number be taken off their list, yet they continue to hound me, and now they're even calling me from withheld numbers. My phone number, 07790247600, is solely meant for private communications, not for cold calls. It's also vital for my doctor and care workers to contact me, so changing it isn't an option. The caller I’m referring to is 01633705080. I've had enough of these nuisances!

After countless calls from Lifestyle Survey, I lied about my age to get them to stop ringing me (they kept saying would only stop once I answered that question, and they actually did keep calling). Even after asking them not to contact me again, I got a phone call from this number. It was a very polite Welsh lady asking about PPI, which I've never been involved with. I stayed polite but kept telling her to hang up, which she eventually did. Honestly, it was just as bad as the call centres in India. Surely it’s time for proper laws about this. The TPS just isn’t enough.

It was a ppi call, really clingy and aggressive. I said i was busy at work and couldn’t chat but the guy just kept badgering me for info. I also told him I already made a ppi claim on the only card I ever had ppi on but he didn’t take the hint. In the end, I just ended the call!

Got a call saying they’re cutting down my Sky box maintenance fees and want me to stop my direct debit. They said they’ll post some forms but needed to know my bank details first. I told them to just send the forms over, but then they couldn’t do that and ended up hanging up on me.

Got a call from some place in Wales saying I could claim like £3000 back on PPI. Funny thing is, the bloke couldn’t even spell my name right! When I asked for his date of birth, he just wouldn’t give it out, said it was private or something. As someone who works in law, I’ve seen quite a few clever scammers get caught, and this one smelled fishy from the start.
