Got a call from someone speaking with a thick accent from the subcontinent trying the classic "your Sky router is causing viruses to our system" trick. Problem is, I don’t even have Sky internet or their gear. Once I called them out on it, they just hung up straight away.

I encountered a swindler with quite a thick accent, likely from the Indian subcontinent, attempting to access my computer systems. Their ploy revolved around the classic line of "your Sky router is transmitting a virus to our servers." It was clear they were using an autodialer, and the number had been manipulated to resemble 01633608174. The moment they figured out I was onto their game, they abruptly hung up. Sadly, I couldn't trace the call any further than identifying it originated in India.
