This is definitely a con. As soon as I picked up the phone, the caller mentioned my name—very off-putting—and claimed he was just trying to see if I wanted a loan. I stated I wasn't interested, and he suddenly insisted that wasn't his inquiry before abruptly ending the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
