I've been receiving persistent calls on my mobile, yet I never pick up. Strangely, there’s never a message left, which is rather irritating. It's especially troublesome when I’m eagerly waiting for an important call. What a bother!

I wasn’t quick enough to grab my phone when it rang. As others have mentioned, they can take a long walk off a short pier. I find great joy in blocking numpties like that!

They didn't pick up the phone, and oddly enough, they didn't bother to leave a message either, which makes me a bit wary.

What a nuisance! I keep getting phone calls from the same lot, often twice daily! They were rather evasive about their identity and insisted on verifying my information before revealing who they were, which I absolutely declined to do. The moment they mentioned my name, I had had enough and promptly ended the call!
