When I asked where they got my personal details from, the person just hung up straight away. Is this how you normally deal with people? I got a call from this number, and I picked up quickly since it just showed the digits. I told the person I couldn’t chat because I was working. Right after that, they started yelling at me, calling me dishonest, and then just ended the call.

Had a bloke ring me up with what sounded like a really strong and kind of rough Bengali accent (I picked up on it since I’m from there myself). He asked for my missus by name. When I told him she wasn’t around and asked who was calling, he just snapped back, “None of your business,” and hung up straight away!

I got a call from this number earlier today while I was behind the wheel. Even though I use hands-free in my car, I just ignored it like I do with any unknown caller. After looking it up, it seems like it's probably spam, or maybe even a scam. Honestly, I think BT or the government need to step in and do something about these annoying calls - they’re just a pain and shouldn’t be allowed to bother folks like this.

Got a spam call while I was driving, told them nicely I wouldn’t be able to talk long as I was on the road for an hour. The bloke just went ahead and called me a liar! Ridiculous.

Over the past couple of days I got a few calls from this number, didn’t pick any but the last one I did and a guy started asking loads of questions about who I am. When I asked what he needed that info for, he got quite annoyed. I hung up and decided to block the number.

This has got to be Initial Advice Limited. Since November 2011, after I applied for a union loan, they’ve been ringing me non-stop. Out of the blue, someone called my hostel landline trying to handle my pension and ill health retirement lump sum. I told him no thanks, but after about ten minutes of him pestering, I lost my temper and hung up. The loan was with Commsave/Unite, not my usual union, even though I tried both. More recently, from as early as 29th March and again on 11th February, they've been calling my two mobile phones constantly. Commsave, Need More Time and Wimbledon Guild of Social Work seem connected - they share directors, and Need More Time Limited is always on the blower, pretending to be a debt management firm, even when I don’t owe anything. Back in August 2019 and 2020, I flagged this to Social Work England and the police, resulting in two social workers linked to Wimbledon Guild/Need More Time being put under practice conditions and one suspended until 10th February 2022. Despite tribunal hearings and attempts to lift these sanctions, the calls keep flooding in, sometimes up to seven times a day, especially in the 28 days after their appeals. The phone usually starts with a weird electronic beep and I’ve even been called from Ahmedabad! I live in the UK, but he and his missus sound like they’re calling from their kitchen, with kids in the background. He once rang me at 1:30 am over a year ago! I keep my ringer low and block every number he uses, but they switch through over 100 numbers. He was even nearly struck off the Companies House register on 8th April 2021, but that was reversed on 16th April 2021. Such a nightmare!
