Got a call yesterday 27/11 with some John Cleese promo. Then they rang again today and the lady was really unfriendly when I declined. Found their number using 1471. Hung up on the rude person straight away!

Got a call from 01633376484 on 10/10/17 around 8pm. I found out who it was by using 1471. We're on the TPS and our number isn’t listed anywhere. Funny thing is, a different 01633 number rang me the day before with a recorded message of John Cleese talking about PPI - I've posted that bit separately.

Called by a PPI claims agent. I said I wasnt interested but she just wouldnt take no for an answer. I had to cut her off and say I was busy at work and couldnt chat. She finally got the message and ended the call fairly quickly. Just another number to add to my block list.

Missed a call from this number and when I rang back, a recorded voice said “John Cleese speaking”. I hung up straight away. Pretty sure it’s some dodgy PPI or telly sales firm. I’ve blocked them now. When they ring again, I just don't answer but leave the phone nearby on my desk or near the telly if I’m in. After a bit, you can hear that weird voice shouting hello hello hello before they give up and hang up.

I happened to miss a call earlier, and when I tried to ring back, I was greeted by a voice recording that proclaimed, "It's John Cleese speaking..." Naturally, I hung up without hesitation. It's obviously one of those pesky PPI or similar marketing firms up to their usual tricks.

Got two calls from this number today. The first time, there was just some muffled noise in the background. On the second, a woman said her name was Sophie and tried pushing a free PPI check on me. Ignore it. Got more than 15 calls from the same call centre, but they use loads of different numbers. They're always trying to help me claim PPI or something from a loan or credit card I supposedly had 20 years back. Just like the comment before mine, its kinda refreshing when annoying callers actually leave a message and that john cleese thing really got me to listen right through! Honestly, I’m not interested either and coincidentally got a couple of calls from them, so they’ve been blocked now. But if I wasn’t done with my ppi claims, I might’ve given them a ring back, so I’m marking this one as neutral.

this number actually left a voicemail for me earlier today! the message said that john cleese wanted to get in touch, and the voice really did sound like him. I also noticed his photo online linked to ppi claim adverts. not sure if it’s genuine or not, but I’m not bothered either way. they’ve rung me twice now, so I’m calling it ‘annoying’ and blocking them straight away.
