someone rang me pretending to be from Three about some upgrade and kept asking loads of personal details. i called Three directly and they told me the phone number isn’t linked to them at all. apparently they’re working on getting it blocked on their system now.

I’d just ignore and block that number, they ring non stop. Sounds like one of those annoying cold calls probably trying to sell a phone or something.

They tried to pass themselves off as reps from the mobile provider Three, saying something like “hi Mr blah, we’re contacting you from Three mobile.” They asked how much I pay for my current phone plan, which was a dead giveaway they weren’t actually from Three. Somehow they already had my last name and knew my contract was about to finish, so they must be getting info from somewhere. Definitely not a firm I’d trust, especially one that starts off with dodgy tactics like that. Blocked straight away.
