Got a call earlier today and they somehow knew mine and my husband's names. They started saying we'd been in the industry before, but when I denied it, they switched to saying we'd been working in a factory. I missed who they were from, but it was obviously just a cold call. We only answered because the area code is local to us, so I thought maybe it was something legit.

So this bloke rings me up saying he’s from a place called Advice Direct, but when I looked it up, there’s no such company anywhere. When I told him I never share me personal info over the phone, he just had the cheek to say he’d find me on Facebook! Proper bold of him, that one.

They rang me up a couple of times. When I picked up, the line just went silent, but then later they called my wife asking if we were employed in some kind of loud factory. Proper annoying calls like that drive me mad.

some people from what sounded like national hearing called me saying something about me working in a noisy place. i wasn’t having any of it, told them to get lost and ended the call. weird thing is they already had my details, even though my number’s unlisted and i’m on the do not call list.
