When you manage to get someone on the line, they're rather impolite and don’t seem to understand the meaning of 'leave me alone'. Based on what I’ve read from other folks chiming in, it seems we’ve got a proper numpty here. Honestly, they ought to return to wherever they’ve come from—preferably with a hefty dose of common sense! Might I suggest a metaphorical leap off a cliff? This number has been persistently pestering my phone, and I’ve been giving it the cold shoulder whilst I sought out information to determine if it’s a scam or something fishy. Received a call from someone claiming to be offering savings on energy costs. When I inquired about the company he represented and how he acquired my number, he said it was on behalf of Shielding NHS and that my number was provided by my energy supplier. He even knew my name! He refused to accept my refusal to engage further, so I ended the call. Quite suspicious—definitely feels like a scam.
