On Wednesday 21st Oct 2020, I missed a call from 01632960854 because my phone was switched off. They didn't bother to leave a voicemail either.

This number keeps calling me non-stop, both day and night, all the way from the UK to the USA. As someone living abroad, I know BT wouldn’t ring the States at ridiculous hours! Ever since I signed up on a job website, I’ve been flooded with endless calls and emails I don’t want. It’s gotten so bad that I’m seriously thinking about switching my phone number and email just to get some peace. Such a pain!

Got a call from a guy with a really English name but sounded Asian, said he was from BT but had no clue where I lived. I just told him nicely to jog on. This isn’t the first time they’ve tried this on me.

Got a phone call today from this number. Some bloke with an Indian accent telling me that whenever I use the internet or check my emails, hackers can get all my info. He said he needed to check a code on my computer to keep me safe. I told him straight up that he was trying to scam me. He insisted he worked for BT though. So I asked him what else he knew about me - he got my name right but gave me an old address we moved out of like 8 years ago! Clearly a load of rubbish. I kept questioning him and he eventually just hung up.

I received a call from a number that flashed up as "International" for a couple of rings before suddenly switching to "Unavailable". The number displayed on my screen was 01632960854. It’s rather obvious these scam artists aren't the brightest, trying to be all secretive yet not fooling anyone. It’s quite vexing that we have to tolerate such ridiculousness!

We receive calls on our home phone from this number about once or twice daily, claiming to be from BT regarding our router. I've already informed them not to ring this number and mentioned that the conversation is being recorded. Despite that, they persist in calling every single day. Got a random call from some dodgy scammer the other day. Honestly, don’t even bother chatting with them, just end the call straight away. They keep pushing nonsense and it’s clear they’re scammers from somewhere in Asia. Stay sharp and don’t let them waste your time!

So I got this call from a bloke with a really thick Indian accent who said his name was Peter Williams. He claimed he was ringing from BT about some cybercrime issue related to our internet. Apparently, our "security code" was at risk and needed changing. Seemed pretty clear he was angling to get remote access to our PC, so we just told him we'd call BT ourselves to verify everything and then hung up.

I keep getting calls from this bloke, like 3 questions he wants to ask me real quick. At first I was nice about it, but after getting like 30 calls a day and leaving me silent messages, I told them off. Now they just won’t stop calling at all and leave completely silent voicemails. It’s proper annoying!

Got a call on the 21st or 22nd of June last year. The person said they were with BT and claimed my internet had been accessed "from overseas". Had a strong Indian accent, and I could hear loads of noise like a hectic call centre behind them. Told him straight up that he was trying to scam me, and he sounded really rattled after that. I ended the call there and then.

Got a call earlier from some call centre saying that our BT phone line was gonna be disconnected because someone supposedly asked for it. Problem is, our broadband is actually through a different provider, not direct BT. I've also had calls from numbers with a Bermuda prefix, which felt like the same place ringing me. When I started asking them random questions, the line just went dead. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call where first there was total silence, then a single beep, and after that an automated voice just said 'Goodbye'. This has repeated a couple of times now. It usually happens on days I get a call from someone claiming to be from BT, asking about my internet service. I tell them I’m not interested in talking, and they hang up suddenly. Feels like the same cold caller messing about to wind me up, probably scammers. I'm not risking anything with these sort of calls, honestly.

I got a call on 20/6/17 from someone claiming to be from BT internet. They asked me to make changes on my laptop and even wanted me to give them control. I knew it was dodgy and just hung up straight away.
