SCAM I got a call from some guy claiming he was from tech support, wanted to get into my PC. He spoke pretty basic English, when I messed about he just dropped the call.

I got a call claiming to be from Norton Antivirus saying my virus protection hadn’t been updating right. I told them it actually did update just the day before, but they still tried their usual spiel about connecting to my computer through TeamViewer. For some reason, I just didn’t hang up and ended up keeping them on the phone for 41 minutes while I played silly fart noises from YouTube. Eventually, when they started getting pushy, I told them exactly what I thought of their nonsense (can’t really say it here, though).

Some bloke called me saying there was an issue with my Microsoft PC and asked me to switch it on so he could take a look. I told him I never let anyone get into my computer and he just ended the call. The voice sounded like it was coming through a voice changer or something to hide who he really was.
