6 yearsGot a call from a young lass claiming to be from some law firm called Spinx and sons - never heard of them before, don’t reckon they’re legit. She went on about a road traffic accident, saying it wasn’t my fault or something. I told her I don’t even drive! She quickly changed tack and said I’d supposedly fallen off a ladder. (Pretty sure they’re phishing for bank details here.) So I went along with it, saying, “Yeah, last week I fell off a ladder while painting the blooming Albert Hall, landed right on Prince Charles’s horse, knocking both of ’em into a black cab, which smashed through the Boots chemist window.
