I got a call early in the morning, about 7.30, from someone speaking with an Eastern European accent saying they were from BT. They kept asking if I used the internet for banking and shopping, talking about online security. When I told them I’d ring BT myself to check if they’d actually sent anyone out to call me, the person just hung up. The number showed up on my landline but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t genuine. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
