Got a call from a bloke named Martin supposedly from Rethink Energy, with a Midlands accent. He kept insisting it wasn’t a cold call, but honestly, it sounded like a scripted recording or maybe he’d just said the same spiel so often it came out robotic. This wasn’t the first time I’d heard from them, and last time for sure it was a cold call.

This dodgy caller has rung me up again, and it's the second time now. They kick off with that "This isn't a cold call" nonsense, then quickly moves on with "Can I just confirm a few details?" I cut them off right then. Seriously, I never asked for their call, nor was I waiting on one. So yeah, it's just another cold caller trying to pull a fast one. Honestly, they’re no better than those so-called ‘local energy advisors’ who phone in the afternoon, likely targeting vulnerable older folks. Complete waste of time.

A bloke named Martin rang me, said he was from some energy company or whatever. He claimed it wasn’t a cold call, but obviously it was since I never asked for a call.
