Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, didn’t pick up and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either - pretty sure it’s just a scam. Blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from this number claiming they’re collaborating with the FCA about mis-sold car finance issues in the UK. They said they were from Plethen Financing, based in Matlock, but it was clear they weren’t local. When I challenged them, they admitted they’re actually calling from South Africa. They also said I’d filled out a questionnaire, which I definitely didn’t. Honestly, they can’t do anything to help with mis-sold vehicle finance complaints here.

Got a call from 01629373853, some bloke with an Asian accent said it was about repairs and damage to my housing association house. Thing is, I don’t even rent from a housing association! When I asked how he got my number, he just went quiet and hung up on me. Bit odd if you ask me.
