Anonymous really nailed it in their comment. If you get a message like that after using facebook on your PC, unplug the internet immediately and keep the power button pressed to force a shutdown. Once you turn it back on, run a thorough virus and malware check just to be sure nothing’s lingering. Keep in mind malware can act differently over time - it’s not guaranteed it’ll just disappear by itself. If you got off lightly this round, have a look at the date of your last backup (DVD backups are best). Just a heads up, be careful out there.

I got a scary message from this number pop up on my screen warning me my computer was infected with a trojan and blocked. It wouldn’t let me close the alert or open another tab. This happened right after I clicked on something on Facebook that caught my eye. Just a heads up, don’t fall for it! I had to force my PC off using the power button and then restart it. After that, the warning was gone and I couldn’t find that Facebook post again anywhere.
