Got another ring from someone claiming to be BT Tech Support, telling me they'd been checking my internet and found some hacker trying to get in, saying my connection was unsafe and they were gonna "shut it down". I told the bloke that my internet's through Virgin Media, who clearly say on their site they don't use phone lines at all, but he kept on going. After a while, he just gave up and dropped the call.
