I got a voicemail claiming Amazon was trying to charge me £34 to renew my “Prime membership” and told me to press 1. I hung up straight away and checked the number using 1471. (I’m not even signed up for any Prime stuff). I then sent all the info over to the police’s fraud site, actionfraud.police.uk, like Amazon suggested.

Got a call from this number out of the blue. I wasn’t waiting for anyone to ring me. When I tried to ring them back, the line just wouldn’t connect. Could it be some sort of spam or maybe a call centre? Not too sure.

Got a bloke calling from Asia claiming he can block calls. This is the third time just this week I’ve had the same voice and name, but he keeps ringing from different numbers.
