So, I got a phone call from someone claiming my national insurance number was linked to some dodgy stuff. They told me to download this app and move my money into some sort of digital wallet. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a recorded call from a woman with a British accent saying she’s from ‘BT Internet’. She claimed there was some dodgy activity on my network and said both my internet and landline would be cut off today if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to sort it out. Total scam - the usual “press 1 or we’ll disconnect you” nonsense. I’m not even a customer with them! Best to just hang up, ignore it completely, and block the number. Don’t press anything else!
