I've encountered this pesky situation two days running now. I've taken to ignoring certain calls these days, simply because they’re becoming a right bother. It’s high time folks put an end to these interruptions!

On the 4th of October 2022, I got a call from this number. A lady asked for someone’s name, but I told her she must have dialled the wrong number and ended the call. Then today, I got a dodgy recorded message saying it was from HMRC and that I owed money. Seems like both calls might be connected somehow.

I got a missed call and when I rang back, it was just an automated voice from some kind of company. Waited around for a bit but then ended up hanging up.
