Got a call this morning from someone saying they were from global services, based in London, offering to fix a Microsoft issue. Pretty clear it was a scam, don’t fall for it!

Even tho it was a landline, the voice on the other end sounded like it was coming through the internet. Some woman with a foreign accent started going on about errors showing up on my PC. I asked if she thought I was daft, which seemed to confuse her. Then I told her to bugger off, and suddenly the call got cut. My tip? Don’t bother with polite questions, just tell them to jog on straight away.

I got a call from someone saying my computer was at risk, they told me to sit at my computer so they could help fix the problem, sounds like a scam to me!
