Its quite amusing that whenever my phone buzzes just after 10 in the morning, I’m pretty certain it’s another one of those phone pii## things. There’s always a slight pause then the background hum of a call centre, followed by an Indian accent asking for me personally. I told him he’d got the wrong number, he said sorry and then ended the call. From what I’ve read, it seems those pesky ppi calls are now being swapped out with ‘your bank owes you cash’ type scams.
