Had this woman on the phone with a thick accent, saying she was from BT's tech support. I asked her if she honestly expected me to believe that scam, and she actually said yes! I just hung up on her straight away.

Had the same annoying problem today, got two calls just around lunchtime and then again a couple of hours afterwards. Since i’m a TalkTalk customer, i used 14258 to block the number. I also made sure to let them know it was cause of a scam call.

On 18 May 2018 around 12.54pm I got a call that was silent at first. After about a minute, an automated voice came on and then it just hung up. I’m pretty sure it was one of those scam calls, so I told Talk Talk to block the number 01628439175. Looks like it could be risky, so watch out for it!

Got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent claiming to be from BT’s tech support about my internet. The moment I asked what the call was about, she hung up straight away. Tried calling a couple of times between 11 and midday as well.
