Absolutely hilarious! I got a call on my husband’s mobile, and we were pretty sure it was a scam since no one we know ever rings him - he’s deaf, you see. I once answered a call meant for him, and when they asked for him, I told them he wouldn’t hear them because of his hearing issues. Still, they kept insisting on speaking to him. You’d think they’d get the message! They just read from their script and don’t actually listen. Proper daft behaviour, honestly!

I got a call from someone saying I’d been in some sort of accident, sounded like an insurance claim scam to me. But as far as I’m aware, I haven’t had any accidents recently.
