Got a call from someone saying they were Sky, claiming I could switch my 4G sim to a 5G one. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Evlo used to be called Everyday Loans. They’re quite pricey so I only consider them if things get really tough and I'm about to crash in the car. They’re a proper loan firm, phoning to check or finish off your loan details. Just answer, say no thanks nicely and they don’t bother you again. Sorted.

I saw Everyday Loans Ltd around Maidenhead and Slough, also known as Evlo, and their interest rates are absolutely mad - like between 52 and 242% APR! Seriously, who’d actually borrow from them? They claim to be FCA and FSCS regulated, which just goes to show how messed up the whole UK system is these days. It’s a proper joke if you ask me.

I checked out a loan through Experian and got redirected somewhere, but I didn’t go any further with it. Since then, they’ve been calling me loads, like a few times every day for the past few days. Obviously, I’m just ignoring the calls.

I recently came across the authentic contact number for Simply Loans, situated in Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK. They've got an impressive 5-star rating on Trust Pilot, which certainly adds to their credibility. It seems quite secure to share any personal details as per the FSA regulations needed to move forward with your loan application and official legal offer, all governed by the Consumer Credit Act. Quite reassuring, really!

I can vouch for Everyday Loans - they're a legitimate loan provider. If you receive a call from them, it's not some dodgy spam; they operate under stringent regulations imposed by the Financial Conduct Authority to ensure proper marketing practices. Chances are, you've either filled out a loan application yourself or gone through a broker. If that's not the case, there's a possibility that your personal details could have been compromised. Be cautious about sharing too much on social media, as those seemingly innocent spammy posts could lead to unwelcome consequences.

I keep getting calls from Everyday Loans, a proper finance company. If they are ringing you, it’s likely you either applied for a loan yourself or maybe went through a broker. But if you haven’t, then it’s possible your identity’s been nicked, especially if you post those scam warnings all over Facebook - somehow your details could’ve been swiped from there.
