They asked for my address and name, then told me that someone would get in touch about the washing machine.

This number has rung me up thrice today already. I was tied up so I didn’t answer. Tried dialing 1471 to check the caller, and when I phoned back it was just busy every time. Being called repeatedly like this feels a bit like harassment to me.

this bloke called me up using my name and an outdated address. he asked if it was me and when I said the address wasn’t right, he wanted my current one. I refused to give it and then he got all rude, telling me to shove my address where the sun doesn’t shine before hanging up. quite the mood!

I just got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who asked for my name and address. She said someone would be in touch regarding the washing machine, then suddenly hung up. Feels like they're trying to match names with addresses or something.

Got a call from an Indian woman who asked if it was me and if my address matched what she said. She claimed she was calling from M&S about someone coming to check our washing machine. Then, out of nowhere, she just ended the call.

Got a call from a fella with a strange accent claiming to be from Marks and Spencer, said he needed to verify some info. My husband wasn’t having any of it and questioned him, then the guy just went off calling him a bastard and hung up right after. Quite shocking!

My 87 year old mother-in-law who only understands family on the phone got a call. I had to step in and answer, they said they were from marks & spencer saying my father-in-law won something. I told them nicely to stop ringing as he’s in hospital very ill and definitely didn’t join any contests.

This morning, when I picked up the phone, all I heard was silence, which usually means it’s not a real caller. Like I always do in this situation, I hit the hash key a few times because someone told me it stops them from seeing your number. Afterwards, I called 1471 and got the number as 01626866659.

So annoying, kept calling and asking for someone nonstop. I asked who it was and he said his name was Veronica, which seemed weird. He refused to say why he was calling, so I just ended the call. I’m fed up with these constant annoying calls!

i got a call from a guy who sounded a bit foreign, said he was ringing from marks & spencer. he was quite polite but it didn’t feel like a real call. i told him he’d reached a business number and that’s when he hung up.

Got a male caller who kept demanding my dad by name, sounding pretty rude each time. When I asked who he was, he claimed to be ringing from Marks & Spencer. But when I tried to find out why he’d called, he just told me to f##k off and then ended the call. Proper strange and annoying.
