Had a call earlier today with a robotic voice saying there were some transactions made on my bank account. They told me to press 1 if it was legit or press 2 if I wanted to talk with someone from their customer service.

Some sort of phony bank security caller, obviously out to scam money.

No voicemail or anything - I rang this number back only to find it's a private number getting faked, probably by some dodgy scammer. It's about time OFCOM and the phone companies actually took action against this mess.
