I had exactly the same experience. There were some indistinct murmurs in the background for a minute or two, then the call just disconnected. The number seemed to originate from the Teignmouth area in Devon, in case that’s of any interest to anyone.

I’ve had the same experience as others recently. In the past fortnight, I’ve received multiple calls from this number, and each time I answer, they hang up almost instantly. It’s rather puzzling, to say the least!

Received a call from this number not long ago, around 11:50 this morning on the 13th of February, 2008. I tried ringing them back, but BT's recorded message informed me that the number isn't configured to accept incoming calls. What a disappointment!
