I received a missed call from this unfamiliar number just after 1:30 in the morning.

I received a call from this number earlier today, from someone in Japan who wanted to know my name. When I inquired about who he was, he abruptly ended the call. It seems rather dodgy to me, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. If anyone has more information on this, it would be greatly appreciated as I’d like to prevent any potential issues, both for myself and others. Cheers!

It appears to be a case of gathering IT-related intel. Honestly, what do they think? That firms will just hand over details about their infrastructure to anyone who picks up the phone and asks? That's a bit naively optimistic, isn't it?
