I just received a dodgy call regarding some supposed activity on a bank account that doesn’t even exist. The recorded message started playing without even bothering to ask for my name first. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Whenever I pick up the call, there's nothing but silence on the other end. I've also made sure to block this number.

It purports to be from 118 Online, asking for details regarding the business in an effort to boost its online presence. Seems rather suspect and could very well be a phishing attempt to gather info for commercial gain.

I picked up the phone, and there was a rather eerie pause lasting a few seconds before an automated voice chimed in with a rather abrupt "goodbye," and then the line went dead. I've since added this number to my blacklist and blocked it entirely. I highly recommend you do the same—it's likely a phishing attempt or some dodgy scam.

I let the phone ring for a bit and when I finally answered, I was met with a recorded voice saying "Goodbye". I've decided to BLOCK this number based on the warnings I've seen listed underneath. It seems likely that this could be a SCAM or a PHISHING effort.

I returned the call only to be greeted by an automated system prompting me to hit 1 for a callback. After that amusing little interaction, I went ahead and blocked the number straightaway.

Received two phone calls this week, both seemingly on behalf of 118, attempting to reach the business owner. When informed that they were not available, the caller then inquired whether I had the authority to make financial choices for the firm.

This individual was supposedly from 118 and initiated a chat on a dating site. When I decided not to engage with his inquiries, he became rather irritable. To top it off, his questions were quite puzzling and hard to grasp.
