Received a call that claimed to be from O2. Honestly, the chap on the line was a right muddle to comprehend, but it seemed he was keen to set me up with some sort of discounted mobile deal. He insisted on me messing about with a six-digit code and throwing in a few other bits of personal info. Couldn't make out what he was after, though I had a hunch it might not be anything good. I got rather fed up with the whole ordeal and decided to hang up. Went ahead and blocked the number too; seems dodgy enough to me!

They insisted that I provide a code they'd supposedly sent me via text, alongside confirming an array of personal details over the phone.
