Got a call about insurance for my washing machine, and since mine was nearly up, it seemed legit at first. The woman sounded like she knew some personal stuff which made me trust her a bit more. But then she started pressing for my bank and card info, which raised alarm bells. I told her she could double-check her records instead, and then she just ended the call.

Got a call from a lady saying my washing machine warranty was up and she could renew it. I told her that was odd since I bought the machine second hand about 12 years ago. Definitely a scam!

I didnt know the number and it called me again the following day, so I just blocked it. This was like the third different number in just two days that I reckon were scammers.

Just got a call from someone saying they could "renew the warranty on my washing machine that's about to expire." When I asked who the warranty was currently with, they couldn't give me a straight answer. Definitely don't share any personal details with these lot!

My phone only chimed twice before cutting off. I've been absolutely bombarded with insurance calls over the past three days ever since I agreed to take part in a market research survey via phone! It seems like they’ve all decided that I desperately require life insurance, despite me clearly stating ‘No’ to that very question! I certainly won’t be participating in that nonsense again.
