Rather dodgy if you ask me! They presented themselves as a representative from a private life insurance review firm, but something just doesn't sit right about it.

Just got a call supposedly about an 'independent review' for my life insurance. I asked where their registered office was and they immediately cut me off. Definitely seems like a scam to me.
