I received a call from a woman claiming to be Emily, representing a rather unclear life insurance firm, inquiring about a non-existent policy. I informed her that I didn’t hold any policy with them since my partner happens to work in insurance. After that revelation, she promptly ended the call. Quite amusing how she was caught out!

A lady rang my phone looking for someone named Mrs. Moss. I informed her she had dialled incorrectly, but she insisted she’d got the right number, just the wrong name. I probed a bit and asked who she was attempting to reach, and she stated she was after the owner of the number. When I pointed out that surely she should know the name, she abruptly ended the call. Quite mysterious!
