I've just had a rather irritating cold call concerning my life insurance. They wanted to discuss some sort of review, but it was completely unwelcome. I've since blocked the number.

Received a call from a woman claiming to be from some outfit related to life insurance. She was evidently using outdated information, referencing my previous name. I didn't hold back and informed her to kindly leave me be—although my tone was rather brusque!

Today, I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent, who wanted to discuss my life insurance policy. Naturally, I posed some queries regarding the coverage she was referencing. Rather unhelpfully, she abruptly ended the conversation without responding! It led me to believe that it was likely a scam attempt.

I didn't catch the sound of my phone ringing, but I've gathered quite a bit of information.

I got a call from this number but chose not to pick up since my phone flashed a warning indicating “possible fraud”. The 01625 code is linked to Macclesfield, but I've got no contacts residing in that region.

I've got no clue who rang me, but my phone flagged it as a spam call, so I decided to ignore it. I'm utterly exasperated with these incessant nuisance calls. I’ll be blocking the number shortly, especially since they didn’t bother to leave any sort of message.

Really irritating spammer! They utterly butchered my name before I had the chance to respond, so I just hung up and added them to my blocked list.
