Received a call stating they were from Lifeprotect.uk.co, but upon searching, found no trace of such a site. They couldn't provide me with an email address and claimed it was about renewing life insurance. I've since decided to block the number.

I signed up for the Telephone Preference Service weeks back, yet I continue to receive nuisance calls from overseas. It’s simply unacceptable and the situation seems to be deteriorating.

Just received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be from an insurance firm, trying to fish for my bank information. The woman had a distinct Kiwi accent. I've since blocked the number and ended the call. Total scam!

They called me by my complete name, which is a bit suspicious since I never shared my details with them. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a rather dubious call from what was clearly a call centre, attempting to sell me insurance. When I pressed them for details about how they had obtained my number, they seemed rather vague and couldn't provide a coherent answer. I ended up giving them a piece of my mind in Hindi, and they abruptly cut the line.

The caller immediately misidentified me by the incorrect title. A woman claimed to represent an insurance brokerage. I didn’t want to engage any further, so I ended the call and subsequently blocked the number.

I received a call where the caller specifically asked for me by name. However, I informed them that I wasn't around at the moment and suggested they try again later. Out of curiosity, I wondered what the purpose of their call was, but before I could find out, they hung up!

I received an unsolicited call today from someone who didn’t bother to mention which company they were representing. There was quite a bit of noise in the background, typical of a call centre atmosphere. The caller was searching for ‘Paula’. When I clarified that they had dialled the wrong number, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite strange, really.
