Got a call from an unknown number, no greeting or anything, just ended the call as soon as I picked up.

Right at the start he asked me, "Hello, are you able to hear me?" I answered, "Yes, I can hear you."
He hesitated and asked the exact same thing again. I just said the same. It seemed like he was trying to get me to say "Yes" on the line.
Afterwards he said it was a survey about life insurance. I told him to take my number off their list and to not ring me again. Never say "Yes" in replies, as they might use it to your disadvantage.

He started the convo with "Hello, can you hear me alright?" I told him yeah, I could hear him. Then he hesitated and asked the exact same thing again. I gave the same answer. Felt like he was trying to trick me into saying "Yes" out loud. Later on, he said it was some survey about life insurance. I told him to take my number off their list and do not call me again. Pro tip: never say "Yes" during these calls, they might use it against you somehow.
