Got a bunch of annoying cold calls from numbers that are so similar it’s hard to tell them apart. I keep blocking one but then they just pop up from a slightly different number. Proper frustrating.

Got a call from Funerals4U, they started asking about my will. When I said I already had one, they asked if I had reviewed it, saying it was some kind of government advice. I said I hadn't. Then they went on about power of attorney and suggested I should sort one out. I said I didn't need one, and they just said goodbye. Finally, they asked if I'd arranged anything for my funeral. The number showed as a UK number. Honestly, I'd avoid answering if I were you.

Plans 4u funeral service keep pushing you to hand over power of attorney, saying it’s because of some new government law! Really watch out, not sure how they got my info but it’s pretty unsettling.

This number has called me twice already. The first time I picked up, it was a really insistent bloke talking about wills, power of attorney, and funeral insurance. I was quite blunt with him and told him to stop, but today I got another call from the same number on my mobile - which I never share with anyone! I've blocked it now, fingers crossed that sorts it out. These cold calls are such a pain and feel like a real intrusion. Seriously, why isn’t there stronger legislation to stop them?

Got a missed call around 9.15 today. I rang back and it was some bloke named Richard from Future Planning - he actually knew my name. He said the Government’s reaching out to people aged 50 to 75 to check if they’ve made a will with a solicitor. I told him I’d sorted my funeral as well and asked to be taken off their list, but then he just ended the call.

About three hours ago, this number rang me. When I picked up, there was complete silence. I was just about to ask who was on the line after asking a couple of times already when suddenly I heard a couple of loud clicks and then some kind of recorded message started. I didn't bother listening to it and just hung up straight away. I've had too many fake recorded calls before, and honestly, none of them are worth paying attention to since they're all tricks.

Somebody rang me saying they were from my pension company and wanted to check if I could get a better pension plan. They never really said their name properly, just kept saying they were my pension provider. I highly doubt it was them. Just so you know, I’d already talked to the real pension company before, and they’d sent me a letter as well.

Got a call on my mobile yesterday from someone with an Indian accent claiming it was a survey. Whenever I said "no" to the bits asking if I'd be happy to be contacted again, they seemed quite annoyed. Today I also got a follow-up text from 60441 offering a 'voucher' if I replied. Of course, they didn't bother to say it was a premium rate number, which just feels like a sneaky way to charge me for some worthless rubbish. Definitely more pushy than the usual calls like this.

I received a ring from 01625800824 just today, 15/01/19. The person on the other end didn’t mention the company properly but said they were calling folks between 60 and 80 about what might happen to your belongings after you die. Basically, they were trying to talk to me about making a will! I mean, I’m only 61 for goodness’ sake! I told them I’d already taken care of it with my solicitor. Was a bit of a mood killer, honestly.
