Got a call from some company named SERVICE SOLUTIONS about an electrical wiring policy. I questioned why I’m always getting calls like this, and then she just ended the call. This was the second time in an hour, and honestly, it’s like the tenth time this week. Feels like a total scam to me.

Got a call from a lady pushing some SkyProtect deal. I was a bit iffy since she couldn’t confirm my policy number. She said her manager would call back in half an hour, but he phoned just after five minutes. He said he was from the engineers team, not accounts, yet still didn’t share any account info. About twenty minutes before, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent named Seàn. He wanted me to give him a safety code word, which I made ‘Scottish lad’. Later on, a chap with a Scottish accent rang up and asked for that code word. I just told him to jog on and then hung up. What a joke!

I'm posting this for my mum, who looks after my dad. They called about some policy renewal, but my parents don't have any policy with that firm. The woman on the line, called Georgia, was hard to understand - her voice kept breaking up like there was a bad connection or electric interference. She insisted they needed payment over the phone before sending any documents. Mum asked them to post the renewal info first, but Georgia said they only send paperwork once you’ve paid. My dad would never have signed up for anything like this, so it's fishy to me.

In the past year, I've fallen prey to scams from Digital Team UK and Cover Utility Team, and I can’t shake the feeling that my information has landed in the hands of this new bunch as well.

I got a call earlier from 0113 429 2043, and shortly after another one from this number. It was a rather rude chap on the line, insisting he needed to process payment for a so-called "policy". He couldn't be bothered to mention the company's name or provide any specifics about this policy, yet he was rather pushy about obtaining my card information. When I handed the phone to my son, who was trying to get some clarity on what this policy entailed, the bloke abruptly claimed he would have someone else call us back and then promptly disconnected the line. Seems rather dodgy to me.
