Today, I received a rather unpleasant call from someone purporting to be from an insurance firm. This chap was exceedingly rude, throwing around phrases like "if you’re content to be fleeced and taken for a fool" and "I presumed you were a savvy lady, but clearly, I was mistaken." All of this because I declined to alter my policy or entertain their quoting process. They've hounded me with five calls over the past week at various hours, but I had chosen not to engage. I only picked up today in the vain hope that it might put an end to their incessant ringing.
