I had a call where someone pretended to sort out a problem with a router but was really trying to get an elderly person to give them access to their computer. Then they wanted the person to complete an online form, which would have had their bank info on it. Luckily, the pensioner didn’t fall for it. The scammers didn’t even bother to mask their phone number, so the incident has been reported to the proper authorities.
