I got a call from a woman who had a really thick foreign accent, said she was Michelle Woodman from Microsoft or something. She started going on about some Windows 10 update. I just told her to do one. What a bunch of annoying scammers!

Had a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, telling me to check my emails about some issue. They said they’d already sent loads of messages, but I told them I hadn’t got anything, then just ended the call.

Had a call the other day from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying there was something wrong with my computer. These persistent cold callers are really getting worse, making folks think twice about keeping a landline. If the regulators don’t step in soon, more and more people will ditch their phones altogether.

Got a call first thing in the morning, about 9 am, guessin’ they thought I’d be half asleep and less sharp. Funny timing though, cause that same minute one of the kids’ parents rocked up - they work in a bank. I already sussed it was dodgy and the parent backed me up. Seriously, don’t ever let those lot anywhere near your bank info, they’ll probably hack your computer and you’ll be in a right mess.

This bloke had a proper American twang, and he was going on about how my Microsoft PC had some kind of issue, saying hackers were trying to get in. But as soon as I told him I was using a Mac, he just hung up straight away!

On Thursday 20th February 2020 at 11:01 am, this number showed up on our caller ID, yet the phone never actually rang even though we were all in the same room. I wouldn’t have answered it regardless since I don’t pick up calls if the caller’s name doesn’t show - something I’ve stuck to for ages now. If it's important, they can leave a message on the answerphone. Just annoying nuisances really.

Got a call from 01625587685 at about 8.12 this morning. No idea how they managed to get hold of my number since I’m ex-directory. I didn’t pick up because I was having a shower. After reading the reviews here, I’ve decided to block it straight away.

Someone’s been ringing me from 01625587685, and this is already the fourth time in just three days. Each time, nobody says a word. Does anyone know how I can get them to stop?

Got a call from a scammer who just went ahead and called me a bastard before slamming the phone down.

So this lady with a pretty strong foreign accent called me, said she was from Microsoft and needed to look at my computer or whatever. When I asked her a few questions, suddenly some bloke with a different foreign accent jumped on the line saying he could fix it for me. I was like, nah, no way. Hung up straight away. Seems like they're switching things up and calling first thing in the morning now, probably trying to catch you before you’ve had your cuppa.

Some lady with an accent I couldn’t place said she was from Microsoft. When I told her I wasn’t really getting what she was saying, she dropped the F-bomb and called me a c***. I’ve flagged her number to BT as a scam now.
