I had a bit of time free, so I kept the guy on the line for about half an hour just messing around with him. When I finally said he was trying to scam me, I felt like at least he'd wasted a good chunk of time that could've been spent tricking someone else.

got a call from some bloke overseas today, said he wanted to chat about my computer. i told him no thanks straight away cause it sounded dodgy. he then asked what i meant by that, so i told him i wasn’t interested and would hang up. later on, i looked up the number he used and ended up here.

Some woman with a strange accent asked me if I was the primary user of a computer or something like that, and I just hung up straight away.

I was trying to keep her on the line to annoy her a bit, but as soon as I called her out for being a scammer, she vanished after a few minutes. Honestly, I can't understand how anyone falls for these calls. She was telling me to switch on my computer so she could help me with some steps or whatever.

I’ve gone ahead and filed a report with Ofcom about this.

For about five years now, this foreign guy rings me up every few months, always asking for someone I've never heard of. He's really pushy and quite rude when I answer.

Dont even bother with 01625 581891, it's just some fake tech support lot. They ask loads of daft questions and try to get your cash. Best to hang up and give them nothing at all. Total money con, nothing genuine about it.

Some bloke called saying there was an issue with my computer, but I called him a “scammer” and just hung up straight away.

Got a call claiming there was a computer virus. He wanted me to press some keys, but I said there was a photo of him on my screen (which wasn’t true). He just told me to hang up and get some rest.

I received a call from someone with a thick accent, claiming that they could see our computer was infected with a virus! When I mentioned that my partner is a consultant in the field, they continued to insist that we were in trouble. It was clear they were trying to pull a fast one. Gave them the boot and hung up-typical scammers!

We've just received yet another dodgy call from these characters - some foreign chap claiming that our computer is infected with a virus. We swiftly hung up the phone.
