I've just received a voicemail that lasted all of a second from HMP Styal. Oddly enough, the call didn’t actually come through, nor did it ring at all. This has occurred on two occasions now, leading me to believe it could be linked to the phones in the cells rather than the pin phones situated on the landings, as those typically show up as private when they ring. Quite puzzling, isn't it?

I've received three calls from this number, and whenever I attempt to ring back 01625 538898, I just get a message saying, "the service you've reached is no longer available." It's utterly infuriating!

It appears to be a number for a correctional facility. Cheers for the info! That's likely why trying to return the call won't work.

I received two calls from this number around twenty to nine this evening. When I attempted to ring them back, I was met with a robotic voice informing me that ‘the service you have tried to reach is unavailable.’ Quite peculiar, if you ask me!
