They claimed to be linked with the FAA, which in the US is some government debt agency, nothing to do with the actual FAA here in England that deals with pilot licences. Total con artists, definitely not a legit firm.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Investigation Bureau, but honestly, the lady sounded Indian and struggled with her English, calling herself Nicola - or maybe it was something like Neeecoola, if I caught that right. It's just ridiculous how these people waste their lives doing this sort of thing. With everything going haywire in the world, they pick on folks who are already desperate. Truly disgusting behaviour from absolute lowlifes.

I rang the number back and a person who knew my name answered. They mentioned something about COVID-19 and Citizens Advice, but it was all very confusing. When I asked for more details, the call just ended suddenly. I’m not going to chase it up but I’ll be reporting the number.
