When my answerphone picked up, there was just a jumble of voices, kinda like when you’re fiddling with a MW radio station. Ended up blocking the number.

I got a call from this number claiming they worked for BT. They told me my router was faulty and said they needed to get on my computer to fix it without charging me. After that, they talked about sending me some cash as compensation for the supposed broken router, plus a new router for free. When they asked for my bank info, I just said no and hung up straight away. Typical scam move if you ask me.
