I received a rather dubious call claiming to be from Amazon, insisting that there was an iPad order linked to my account. They instructed me to press one if I hadn’t made the purchase to supposedly receive a full refund. However, the whole thing felt like a dodgy scam to me, especially since it was an automated message. I mean, Amazon definitely doesn’t know my home number! I’ve double-checked my account, and there aren’t any orders showing up. I reckon hitting that one could lead me into a right pickle!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon saying there was an iPad order placed and if I hadn’t made it, I was eligible for a refund. Took a quick look at my Amazon account and found no such purchase at all. Definitely felt a bit dodgy.
