They rang me but I couldn’t tell where they were based. Mentioned something about life insurance which I told them I don’t have. Went on about tax updates, I told them I was busy at work, not interested and asked to be taken off their list. No clue how they got my info, maybe from other insurance companies since I’ve just signed up for a few policies. Really annoyed if my details are being passed around without my permission - GDPR issues!

Got a call from someone saying they were with "Be Insured," asking my missus to confirm she wanted to make sure she wouldn’t have to cover £40k if I popped off. Said we had a life insurance policy with them - which we don’t. Then they tried to cover themselves, saying they work with other insurers like London Victoria or whatever, but we’ve never had anything with any of those companies either.
