Got a call from a new number today, warning me that my internet was about to get cut off. Yesterday was a right nuisance, I’ll tell you! I received no less than six calls from this lot between 9 in the morning and half four in the afternoon. Each time, it was a rather drab woman who seemed to have nothing of substance to say, but kept addressing me by my name. Late life planning Ltd, also called prosperous life funeral plans or late life lending Ltd, claims to be the 3rd biggest but in reality it's just a small one-man outfit with loads of companies already closed down. They keep bombarding me with calls every day, ringing from different numbers around Manchester and Macclesfield. They say stuff like "we’ve got your number!" but honestly, don’t hand over any cash. If you back out after they pressure you into signing up, you won't see a penny returned. Their aggressive tactics are really worrying, especially for older folks.
